Chances are there wasn't collaboration, communication, and checkpoints, there wasn't a process agreed upon or specified with the granularity required. It's content strategy gone awry right from the start. Forswearing the use of Lorem Ipsum wouldn't have helped, won't help now. It's like saying you're a bad designer, use less bold text, don't use italics in every other paragraph. True enough, but that's not all that it takes to get things back on track.
The villagers are out there with a vengeance to get that Frankenstein
You made all the required mock ups for commissioned layout, got all the approvals, built a tested code base or had them built, you decided on a content management system, got a license for it or adapted:
- The toppings you may chose for that TV dinner pizza slice when you forgot to shop for foods, the paint you may slap on your face to impress the new boss is your business.
- But what about your daily bread? Design comps, layouts, wireframes—will your clients accept that you go about things the facile way?
- Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever.
- Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
- Websites in professional use templating systems.
- Commercial publishing platforms and content management systems ensure that you can show different text, different data using the same template.
- When it's about controlling hundreds of articles, product pages for web shops, or user profiles in social networks, all of them potentially with different sizes, formats, rules for differing elements things can break, designs agreed upon can have unintended consequences and look much different than expected.
This is quite a problem to solve, but just doing without greeking text won't fix it. Using test items of real content and data in designs will help, but there's no guarantee that every oddity will be found and corrected. Do you want to be sure? Then a prototype or beta site with real content published from the real CMS is needed—but you’re not going that far until you go through an initial design cycle.

so many uses!
I love this coconut oil, it doesn’t have a smell hardly at all. I use it for my dog when her skin is dry, I use it for my own chapstick, it can be used for cooking etc. it’s got a good shelf life, just make sure you use clean utensils to get it out because contamination can make it go bad.

Replacement for healthy eating!
I purchased this right after the holidays when I realized many of my holiday recipes called for unhealthy ingredients. I discovered by simply replacing cooking oils with refined coconut oil made it more healthy food/desserts. Looking forward to implementing this in all my dishes/desserts in 2026.

Staple in our cooking
This is excellent coconut oil! Of course we love that it’s organic and naturally refined, but on top of that it’s smooth and great for everything you need oil for. We use it in the pan as a nonstick, we bake with it, and we use it in soups. You cannot beat Walmart’s price for such a superior product. Health is number one in our home, and this oil tops the list of items we use just about every day.

Save your money and buy THIS coconut oil!
I use coconut oil in cooking/baking and really love the Great Value brand. I’ve tried more expensive ones, but there’s really no difference (except the price tag!). I consider myself pretty health conscious, and this is my go-to brand of coconut oil for all my baking/cooking needs.

Awesome!
Have gotten away from seed oils with the help of coconut oils like this, sunflower oil, olive oil, grapeseed oil, and sesame oil
Can use instead of butter though the taste will not be as decadent. Good value. I look at the smoke points and application to decide if I’m using Virgin vs. extra virgin vs. refined, etc. But, generally they are all the same. Subtly feel better knowing it’s organic, too.

A lot of coconut oil for a reasonable price
I purchased this oil for a popcorn machine. Initially when I bought this I thought “Oh dang I should have paid attention to the size because this is a jug of coconut oil”… but popcorn machines require a lot more oil than you’d expect and it’s a good oil to brush on the irons a waffle maker.
The oil has no meaningful odor or distinct taste so it works for both sweet and savory dishes.

Be forewarned. Coconut oil is a semisolid at room temperature, not a liquid like seed oil. Unlike seed oils which are inherently detrimental to your health, coconut oil is much better. The taste might take a little bit getting used to, but it isn’t too bad. Personally, I prefer the flavor. I don’t have to heat it up as high when deep frying catfish. I also use it for stove top popcorn.
