    Buttered to perfection!
I am amazed! They definitely changed the bottom foil pan into a black (?thing?), but the taste and quality is better than microwave popcorn . I am so amazed how good it came out, I will purchase more!

This is how my package looked on arrival
The box was ripped apart and Walmart knew that from the picture they sent me. Product wasn’t damaged as far as I can tell, but I’m going to be taking it back since children will be eating it. If it had been properly boxed, I wouldn’t be nervous about tampering.

  3. sheila

    jiffy pop doesn’t deliver well
the bottom was smashed on 3 of the 6 packs.

  4. Kj

    Beware before you buy
Nowhere in the extensive product description does it say you cannot pop on a glass ceramic electric stove. If you slowly magnify the product picture to about 200% you can read it on the package. You have to remove the cardboard top to see the caution clearly stated…now you can’t return the product. Pretty lame!!

  5. Cathy

    Damaged
My Jiffy Pop arrived damaged and I won’t be able to use it. The top of it has part of the wire rim showing and the bottom is all dented.

  6. JeriEllyn

    doesnt pop!
over half of the kernels didnt pop and i burned what did pop trying to pop all of them…or at least most of them.

  7. Quindale

    ugh
it definitely wasn’t what i thought it tasted stale after popping wouldnt purchase again

  8. Mitch

    Won’t be doing this again.
I will not being ordering online again. I had assumed the 2 boxes (Qty of 6 in each) would have been properly packaged before shipping. What I got was 12 individual Jiffy Pops tossed into a large box with some bubble wrap on top.

Every single Jiffy Pop is crushed and damaged. Extremely disappointed.

  9. Sarah

    unacceptable
Very faulty packaging. the foil wasnt sealed properly and all the popcorn blew out the sides. i wont be purchasing any longer. shame because this was the best popcorn.

  10. Dissapointed

They all came with discoloration in the packaging. That’s a red flag. It makes me wondering if these were stored in the sun before delivery. So sketch that they would think it’s okay to sell this. This should be in the bargain bin

Chances are there wasn't collaboration, communication, and checkpoints, there wasn't a process agreed upon or specified with the granularity required. It's content strategy gone awry right from the start. Forswearing the use of Lorem Ipsum wouldn't have helped, won't help now. It's like saying you're a bad designer, use less bold text, don't use italics in every other paragraph. True enough, but that's not all that it takes to get things back on track.

The villagers are out there with a vengeance to get that Frankenstein

You made all the required mock ups for commissioned layout, got all the approvals, built a tested code base or had them built, you decided on a content management system, got a license for it or adapted:

  • The toppings you may chose for that TV dinner pizza slice when you forgot to shop for foods, the paint you may slap on your face to impress the new boss is your business.
  • But what about your daily bread? Design comps, layouts, wireframes—will your clients accept that you go about things the facile way?
  • Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever.
  • Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
  • Websites in professional use templating systems.
  • Commercial publishing platforms and content management systems ensure that you can show different text, different data using the same template.
  • When it's about controlling hundreds of articles, product pages for web shops, or user profiles in social networks, all of them potentially with different sizes, formats, rules for differing elements things can break, designs agreed upon can have unintended consequences and look much different than expected.

This is quite a problem to solve, but just doing without greeking text won't fix it. Using test items of real content and data in designs will help, but there's no guarantee that every oddity will be found and corrected. Do you want to be sure? Then a prototype or beta site with real content published from the real CMS is needed—but you’re not going that far until you go through an initial design cycle.
