Chances are there wasn't collaboration, communication, and checkpoints, there wasn't a process agreed upon or specified with the granularity required. It's content strategy gone awry right from the start. Forswearing the use of Lorem Ipsum wouldn't have helped, won't help now. It's like saying you're a bad designer, use less bold text, don't use italics in every other paragraph. True enough, but that's not all that it takes to get things back on track.
The villagers are out there with a vengeance to get that Frankenstein
You made all the required mock ups for commissioned layout, got all the approvals, built a tested code base or had them built, you decided on a content management system, got a license for it or adapted:
- The toppings you may chose for that TV dinner pizza slice when you forgot to shop for foods, the paint you may slap on your face to impress the new boss is your business.
- But what about your daily bread? Design comps, layouts, wireframes—will your clients accept that you go about things the facile way?
- Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever.
- Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
- Websites in professional use templating systems.
- Commercial publishing platforms and content management systems ensure that you can show different text, different data using the same template.
- When it's about controlling hundreds of articles, product pages for web shops, or user profiles in social networks, all of them potentially with different sizes, formats, rules for differing elements things can break, designs agreed upon can have unintended consequences and look much different than expected.
This is quite a problem to solve, but just doing without greeking text won't fix it. Using test items of real content and data in designs will help, but there's no guarantee that every oddity will be found and corrected. Do you want to be sure? Then a prototype or beta site with real content published from the real CMS is needed—but you’re not going that far until you go through an initial design cycle.

Granted we purchase the whole beans into our Phillips 5400 series coffee machine. It is as good as Starbucks. This saves us approximately $20 per week. The Starbucks app barely gets used and only a rare “pick-me-up” moment when we’re on the road. These whole coffee beans will surprise you (as it did us), with a great tasting coffee in addition to the decadent aroma. We have experimented with other brands of whole coffee beans…and we alway go back to Eighty O’clock. Walmart and Vendor keep this price point and we’ll continue to buy this 32oz every other week. ☕️ made right! Happy sipping while this pleasantly wakes us up morning, noon and early evening when we need an extra kick to keep us going.

Faithful Bean Gal
Faithful for years! Perfect blend for a strong, nutty flavor without being bitter. I like my coffee really strong, with ample hazelnut creamer (GreatValue brand is my favorite as it’s not sugary sweet like the name brands) and super hot. My grind is fine and my measure is 16cups ground for my 10cup pot that makes 3-me sized cups. I am a sipper, so my 20 oz cup lasts for about an hour and every sip needs to be bold! I have been a bean girl for many years and use a Bunn coffee maker which is a game changer in the quality of brew, well worth the purchase. So give them a try, you might love them too.

MY NEW FAVORITE
This whole bean coffee is so much better than regular ground coffee. I usually purchase Eight O’ Clock Coffee, but decided to try whole bean, and I’m so glad I did. The freshness was a significant factor for me; sometimes I’ve bought coffee online that either was expired or expired within a few months, but not this one. It stays good for almost a whole year. The taste and quality are great, and it arrived very quickly.

Best Grocery Store Brand Coffee
This whole bean coffee is the best grocery store coffee I have found. The medium roast has a great, smooth yet robust flavor and grinding the beans just before brewing adds to that great flavor. It’s a bit pricier than lesser quality coffee – but this is my go-to for a decent at home brew. Props to Walmart for carrying it!
