Chances are there wasn't collaboration, communication, and checkpoints, there wasn't a process agreed upon or specified with the granularity required. It's content strategy gone awry right from the start. Forswearing the use of Lorem Ipsum wouldn't have helped, won't help now. It's like saying you're a bad designer, use less bold text, don't use italics in every other paragraph. True enough, but that's not all that it takes to get things back on track.
The villagers are out there with a vengeance to get that Frankenstein
You made all the required mock ups for commissioned layout, got all the approvals, built a tested code base or had them built, you decided on a content management system, got a license for it or adapted:
- The toppings you may chose for that TV dinner pizza slice when you forgot to shop for foods, the paint you may slap on your face to impress the new boss is your business.
- But what about your daily bread? Design comps, layouts, wireframes—will your clients accept that you go about things the facile way?
- Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever.
- Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
- Websites in professional use templating systems.
- Commercial publishing platforms and content management systems ensure that you can show different text, different data using the same template.
- When it's about controlling hundreds of articles, product pages for web shops, or user profiles in social networks, all of them potentially with different sizes, formats, rules for differing elements things can break, designs agreed upon can have unintended consequences and look much different than expected.
This is quite a problem to solve, but just doing without greeking text won't fix it. Using test items of real content and data in designs will help, but there's no guarantee that every oddity will be found and corrected. Do you want to be sure? Then a prototype or beta site with real content published from the real CMS is needed—but you’re not going that far until you go through an initial design cycle.

I have been buying great value nuts for many years. The name brands taste as if they have been washed to me. These taste more like the ones I shell myself. Twice through the years I’ve gotten bags of the pecans (my favorite) that were not to my liking and Walmart replaced instantly

I normally dont use store brands to bake for Christmas but the price was so much better and decided to try it out on 1 cookie recipe. I was amazed of the taste of the pecan and the freshness. I think as long as the expiration date is reasonable you can feel confident that you will get a quality nut with freshness and flavor. Try it, if you dont like it you can return it. But Im sure you will see that it sits right next to the name brand for a lot less money!!!!

Delicious snack and healthy. I pour the entire bag on a cooking sheet lined with GV non-stick foil, spray the nuts with GV vegetable oil spray and sprinkle with additional low-salt then bake in a 300 degree oven about 5 minutes. When cooled put in a cookie container lined with wax paper and enjoy whenever we want a salty, healthy snack!!

Excellent crunchy fresh pecans
GV has fantastically fresh nuts probably due to volume turnover. After trying the ones at big membership warehouses and getting huge bags of rancid nuts…the Great Value ones are now the staple because there is no drama involved. They are consistently fresh. They taste great. The price is affordable. It’s reliable. One less worry…done.

I’d like to snack on nuts, peanuts, cashews, pistachios, and of course pecans. I think it’s a more nutritional snack than chips or cookies. It was a good way for me to break away from sugar and salty snacks helping me to lose a lot of weight. The only problem I think, is that nuts are kind of expensive, so I guess I wish they were a little cheaper.

I would definitely recommend these pecans to anyone that likes pecans as much as I do. 8 would like to always buy a big bag of pecans but my budget doesn’t always agree. every now and then I just have to have some pecans. this little bag is just for snacking. sometimes they will last a week. usually just a few days. occasionally there is one that tastes a little off or bitter, but not as much as a bag of walnuts. I had to stop buying walnuts because they make my taste buds glitch. pecans have that smooth, buttery taste and they are not too crunchy. I would like to say that I usually have a food I eat them with but truthfully, that rarely happens. I like to make a chocolate chunk and pecans cookie but the pecans in this size bag don’t have that buttery becan flavor I like for my cookies. these pecans have a milder, almost faded pecan taste that is good enough for snacking but I don’t bake anything with them. one time, 8 almost did add them to my chocolate chunk cookies but I tasted a small handful after I mixed the chocolate into the dough. I had to sit down because I was concentrating on that taste of pecans I expected. but it was a disappointment. you don’t have to be a baker to know that the taste of these pecans will be invisible next to the chocolate and the dough. but if you are relaxing undisturbed then the flavor will come forward but not strong. the only chocolate chip cookie I eat is what I bake because all the ingredients have to taste well together otherwise there are too many other sweets I can make if I want to settle for ordinary.

Good, dependable pecans.
I use these all the time for baking, and have consistently good results. They are clearly well-sourced, and bravo to the workers who produce them. I hope they are paid fairly and taken care of. My only issue that they are about 40% more expensive than I can get them for at Costco. If there was transparency about sourcing I would be fine with the price, but there isn’t.

These Equate Pecan Halves are delicious %26 taste as fresh as can be. (I hope they’re from my state.) The only iffy part is that they’re not all halves %26 if I were baking something that required halves to show, I’d need to slow down a minute %26 pick through them–no problem. The price has been in line with other pecan prices.
