Healthy choice and it tastes great
This came very well packaged. It was shrink wrapped, in another outer package. It was a decent price for basmati rice. I love basmati rice. I could eat it plain. This is a quality rice , tastes great. It has a great aroma
Its organic and sustainably farmed, no additives. It has a lot going for it besides the great taste. It was ten pounds though. I split it with my children

    Excellent imported basmati rice
The bag is double, with the inner bag vacuum packed into a solid brick with non-toxic co-2 gas to prevent the hatching of tiny beetles, a very common problem with rice the consumer can only prevent by freezing the rice for 48 hours or cooking it all immediately. This is delightfully aromatic and long grained as expected, Indian basmati is so much better than US grown basmati which is good food but not as nicely textured, long grained or flavored. I like to pressure cook this to preserve more of the aroma. The only better rice than this is the smoked Indian basmati and that’s more expensive. The hint of smoke is nice but it is also the original way of preventing tiny insect eggs from hatching during long term storage. Please remember that there is no GMO rice being sold in the USA so any time you see a ‘non-GMO’ label you are being deceived by the organic industry marketing campaign. GMO is a breeding method, not an ingredient.

    Tasty and Organic
This ten pound bag of organic Basmati rice comes vacuum sealed and double bagged. The bags are not resealable, so you’ll want to have a large storage container available. I plan to divide the bag into one pound portions and vacuum seal to maintain freshness. The expiration date on the package I received is May 2028, today is Feb 19, 2026.

There are no cooking instructions on the outer bag. I went with a 1 cup rice to 1.5 cup water ratio. I like my rice on the soft and sticky side. I used a rice cooker and it came out perfect. Very tasty, even with no added salt or seasoning.

I had never heard of the Organic Tattva brand, so I researched them online. They appear to be an environmentally responsible and health conscious company from India.

    Primo Organic Basmati Rice
The taste, the aroma! Organic, and lower glycemic index compared to regular white rice. Ten pounds of rice is a lot of rice , but it comes vacuum-sealed , and is such a good deal that you will want to eat a lot of rice dishes.

Chances are there wasn't collaboration, communication, and checkpoints, there wasn't a process agreed upon or specified with the granularity required. It's content strategy gone awry right from the start. Forswearing the use of Lorem Ipsum wouldn't have helped, won't help now. It's like saying you're a bad designer, use less bold text, don't use italics in every other paragraph. True enough, but that's not all that it takes to get things back on track.

The villagers are out there with a vengeance to get that Frankenstein

You made all the required mock ups for commissioned layout, got all the approvals, built a tested code base or had them built, you decided on a content management system, got a license for it or adapted:

  • The toppings you may chose for that TV dinner pizza slice when you forgot to shop for foods, the paint you may slap on your face to impress the new boss is your business.
  • But what about your daily bread? Design comps, layouts, wireframes—will your clients accept that you go about things the facile way?
  • Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever.
  • Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
  • Websites in professional use templating systems.
  • Commercial publishing platforms and content management systems ensure that you can show different text, different data using the same template.
  • When it's about controlling hundreds of articles, product pages for web shops, or user profiles in social networks, all of them potentially with different sizes, formats, rules for differing elements things can break, designs agreed upon can have unintended consequences and look much different than expected.

This is quite a problem to solve, but just doing without greeking text won't fix it. Using test items of real content and data in designs will help, but there's no guarantee that every oddity will be found and corrected. Do you want to be sure? Then a prototype or beta site with real content published from the real CMS is needed—but you’re not going that far until you go through an initial design cycle.
